The tour was easy to book. The guide was knowledgeable and personable. I liked the ease of having our tickets purchased, local experts provided, an itinerary set. I felt like I was able to see highlights of Italy I never imagined seeing in person. The extra excursions added a whole other dimension to the experience. Having an Italian guide who is knowledgeable about places, history, and customs was wonderful. I enjoyed his choices of showing off each region’s food and culture.

The itinerary was great. The only down side was the lack of ability to go inside some of the sights. The crowds were large so there was no time to wait in the line to visit the churches or the Doge’s palace. Maybe next time!!

It’s a great way to see the country and learn about the history of it . This was our first international travel with a tour guide and Chris was an amazing guide and prepared our tours to fill each day as well as meals too. There are a lot of walking and tours available. Be prepared to get physical exercise. I’d recommend going to Italy either in the Spring or fall months to avoid hot temperatures as we experienced in July ! I would recommend using Insight travel agency to anyone who needs help in navigating during their travels and to get the most out of their trip. It was really nice to have our transportation and rooms as well as tour etc. planned for us .

OMG every hotel was incredible and Jackie thought of everything even pulling a out a birthday candle and tiara out of her bag of tricks to give my daughter the birthday of a lifetime . The only thing is you might could put a disclaimer of what to expect as far as the heat and walking. We all said the entire trip was totally awesome and a trip to never forget but it was basically a marathon. At first you see how long you spend on the coach for travel but those air conditioned breaks are golden in allowing you time to recuperate for the next adventure. The local guides really enriched the entire experience showing you things you would have overlooked. Absolutely do all extra excursions or you will miss out. That being said I have never experienced anything like it. Jackie our guide thought of everything and it was the trip of a lifetime.

Excellent tour guide who had lots of detailed information throughout the tour. Coach driver was excellent too. A very comfortable bus. Rather strenuous on several days in very hot conditions. Options were usually wise to take as alternative access to main centres often required a taxi or a long walk.
