Itinerary
Day 1: Corfu
Arrive at any time. Meet your CEO, an experienced local hiking guide, at tonight's welcome meeting. Head out for an optional dinner with the group in Corfu's charming Old Town.
Day 2: Corfu
On the first of our four hikes, head south and set out on a full-day trek from Stavros to the hilltop village of Pelekas. Walk through lush, old-growth forests on narrow footpaths as you take in Corfu's rocky coastal scenery.
Day 3: Corfu
Hike through olive groves and uphill paths to reach the village of Lakones, nestled high above the bays and beaches of western Corfu. Stop by a local distillery to sample liqueur and traditional sweets made from the precious golden orange of Corfu — the kumquat.
Day 4: Corfu
Enjoy a full free day to rest and relax, or lazily wander through more of the Old Town. Opt to go on a local vineyard tour, or explore more of the outdoors if you're keen for another hike.
Day 5: Corfu
Lace up for another full-day hike through the gorgeous landscapes of Corfu. Visit the ruins of a Byzantine castle, hike up to one of the island's best viewpoints, descend into a valley behind a gorge and opt to visit a chapel in a cave.
Day 6: Corfu
Spend the day trekking along the island's most southern point. Trek through the ruins of the Monastery of the Blessed Virgin Mary, take in views of Arkoudilas Beach, and wander past Mischopoulos Lake before heading back to Corfu.
Day 7: Corfu
Depart at any time.

2 reasons. The hotel in Corfu was horrible. Terrible odor in the hallways and stairwell. My bathroom had mold on the ceiling ( I have pictures). This combination caused me to have a sinus infection all week. Also, the packing list did not include trekking poles. I even called G Adventures and asked to be sure and they said not needed because it was light hiking. This was very bad information. Thankfully the guide brought some extra poles. Of course I had to pay 20e to rent them. The terrain on this hike is very rocky. If not for the poles I would not have been able to hike.

The tour was a great experience and well-suited to groups and solo travellers. I enjoyed the experiences and found it easy to interact with other members of the group due to many opportunities to make new friends. I felt confident that our guide had the tour in hand.

The drawback I found with this tour was that the hikes were difficult especially the first one. I don't feel the rating of the hike was accurate.

I could not obtain enough detailed information regarding the difficulty of the hikes prior to signing up. I was led to believe that the trails were ?accessible to almost everyone ?. When I sent a detailed message outlining the abilities of our group, I received a lukewarm answer. I ended up not being able to do most of the hikes. Very disappointing.

There are several reasons, which I hope to expand throughout the rest of the survey. But as it stands, I would say, choice of hotels and lack of details in tour descriptions and agendas.

Great overall experience for the price. No frills accommodations are sufficient. Our guide Spyridoula was fantastic. Hikes were great - some felt more like walks, but beautiful and fun.
