Itinerary
Day 1: Corfu
Arrive at any time, find a comfy spot in the hostel to relax or go out to explore before meeting fellow Roamies in the evening.
Day 2: Corfu/Meteora
While it's hard to not be sad when you leave the island life behind, we have a feeling where you head next will make you do a happy dance. Travel to Kalambaka, the town next to Meteora via public bus and enjoy free time to explore the magnificent Monasteries.
Perched on insanely high cliffs there are six still available for visiting. They were built on these immense natural pillars and hill-rounded boulders and make for a once-in-a-lifetime sight. See as many as you can and try not to succumb to a fear of heights.
In the evening, you may want to relax in your hostel, play some games as a group, and show off those epic photos you took.
Day 3: Meteora/Delphi
Wave “antio sas”(that's good-bye in Greek) to Meteora and Kalambaka as the group heads to Delphi on a private bus. Once you arrive you'll have time to grab some lunch before joining your CEO to visit the Delphi Archaeological Site. Afterwards, take advantage of free time to view the exhibits at the museum, and snap some photos of the Temple of Apollo. Temples, and Gods, and Greek Mythology, oh my!
Day 4: Delphi/Athens
Sit back, relax, and think about the wonderful times you've already had as you transfer from Delphi to Athens. Head out on a CEO led highlights walk of Athens and lay your eyes on famous landmarks before visiting Shedia, a G Adventures—supported café where you will have a drink and learn about the mission of this incredible place.
In the evening let loose on your final night! Grab some cool beverages as a group and let those good times roll.
Day 5: Athens
Say goodbye to your Roamies and depart at any time, or keep the adventure going. It's your choice and you don't have to go home just yet. Right?

The G Adventures tour was fantastically organised and as a solo traveler it was a brilliant way to explore a country in a safe and fun way!

The trip was impeccably planned from the start. Clear explanations and detailed planning on day zero made everything smooth. The people were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout. I thoroughly enjoy the concept of group trips like this.

The places to see are wonderful, and having the experience shared with others heightens it. However, the quality of some of the hostels as well as the rushed pacing of this specific trip takes away from it.

It was a great overall experience however there were a few points that left me a little disappointed. The main thing being in Meteora where the itinerary mentioned a hotel or similar and then being placed in a hostel. I was expecting mainly hostels so that is OK, however to book a hostel where the reviews mention bedbugs very recently was a shame. And we found bedbugs in the hostel. it's really not acceptable to book somewhere where they mention bedbugs in the reviews. It was disappointing and made the rest of the trip a less enjoyable experience as I was looking for bites and bugs for the rest of the time.

The tour was good, but I would prefer more guided Tours, especially in Athens. I could do this tour easily on my own, so it's nice for someone who doesn't want to travel alone but too expensive for the offer

I really enjoyed the trip, it was really affordable and Maria was excellent. It worked for what I needed/wanted, but that might not be the case for everyone.

I think I would if they were younger then myself and had lower standards of accommodation. I do think G Adventures has some good trips.

On balance it was a really enjoyable experience taking us to parts of Greece we?d have otherwise not known about or travelled to.

People?s comfort levels vary and I'm slightly older than the typical early 20s backpacking. I love backpacking and staying in hostels, but I travel a lot and try to be more on the budget side so I can fund more travel, but I know many friends my age who don't and would like more hotel style stays. But for a social budget traveller friend absolutely.

I think fundamentally it was a good trip.. however, I feel like it was grossly missold and I'm confused as to what all the money went to. It was £500 for a 5 day trip, but really it was 3 days because the first and last day was just a hello and goodbye. We paid for our own flights, stayed in cheap hostels, paid for most our own meals and used public transport the whole time. I would not recommend this as I think the trip could be easily done by yourself a LOT cheaper. The best part about the trip was meeting people, but this could be hit and miss depending on your group and you can easily meet people when staying in hostels anyway.

The bedbox hostel in athens and the castri hotel in delphi were good. The sunrock hostel in corfu and the greco hostel in kalambaka were okay. When i came in on the tour, the overall mood of the group was that the tour is finishing and a lot of the people were looking forward to going home. And that is understandable as some people were already traveling for a month. But i felt a bit strange as i was in a different mindset.
